richie jerimovich — the bearregular customer at the original beef before mikey’s death, immediately clicking with richie’s energy but both didn’t have the confidence in themselves or their situation to step over the line of ‘friends’; they only get together on the opening night of the bear after six months of not seeing each other because of the renovations, making them realise that they do need to finally breathe into it.☆ ‘every second counts.’> four or so years worth of slow burn, friends to lovers, age gap, emotional turmoil/mutual healing, found family.
xia caleb — love and deepspaceevents follow the same canon storyline within the game, the only change is that I tend to talk about them as full biological siblings. she is also a lot softer to post-explosion caleb than in game dialogue/reactions and doesn’t pull away in favour of the past.★ photo gallery of us here.> incest: big brother/little sister, mutual obsession and devotion, possessive caleb, leaning into ‘yandere’ trope, angst, a lot of physical hurt and comfort.
phillip gallagher — shamelesslives across the street from the gallaghers, comes from an abusive household and seeks shelter with kev and v some days. her and lip became closer one summer after she asked for weed at his and kev’s van which was very out of the ordinary for her; lip offered to meet and show her how, eventually discovering that the shy girl isn’t so different from him after all. storyline is more focused on pre-college and post-college eras.☆ ‘I won’t screw this up.’> friends to lovers, found family, trauma exploration and (attempted) healing, blood and heavy angst, addiction/substance depictions.
theo raeken — teen wolfthere’s many detailed scenarios to explain and flesh out the build up accurately but here’s a summary: she recognises the hunger, loneliness and darker past in him before anyone else does, aside from stiles’ suspicions. they circle each other like predators for a while, testing and trying to find out the truth, and clashing between it all. the lines blur more often than not; rival, ally (for lack of a better word,) something heavy and dangerously fated. that was all before he was pushed to hell - she wasn’t there for that fight, she didn’t see what happened… no closure and an odd sense of loneliness until they meet again when he is brought back to help the pack. the close encounters become stronger, the fights aren’t as aggressive or accusatory. the core of what they’ve seen in each other is then cracked wide open when she is taken by the wild hunt. they’ve both now experienced the fear of loss, and they both now have to weave their broken feelings together.> human/chimera, enemies to lovers, slow burn, quiet trauma recognition, blood exploration and bared teeth; understanding in violence (especially beyond scott’s ideals), silent protection and possession.
derek hale — teen wolfI’ve grown alongside derek for many years now, since I was a fresh teenager. this pairing brings me such personal comfort; it has a very long timeline of lore and history, in terms of the supernatural world details as well - I have my own ‘universe’ set up. I’m not detailing much here simply because there’s a lot to even attempt to summarise.> human/werewolf, slow burn, slight age gap, silent communication, very protective back and forth, guardian dynamic, tension through proximity, earned intimacy, equal footing.
charlie dalton — dead poets societythis pairing has soft lore that would be difficult to begin to explain just because of how personal it all is. I don’t tend to actually talk about him on social media in selfship terms for my own sake due to being particularly nonsharing.> friends to lovers, mutual pining, neighbouring schools (all girl pairing school of welton), living through poetry and hidden nights.

bob velseb — spooky monthvery detailed lore but this is a quick recap: met bob as a young girl when he worked in boys & grills, he assisted her during an abusive family encounter there and she held onto that memory as she grew. they only meet again years later when bob is out of prison, he corners her in a dark alley only for her to recognise his voice. eventually he calms, remembering her too - from there they are inseparable. later in their relationship they marry, a ceremony only the two of them with personalised hand carved rings. they reside in a small cottage out in the woods, alicia helping bob with his ‘bloody adventures’ whilst working on her own witchcraft skills.★ art gallery located here.> age gap, fated mates, trauma exploration, mutual gore indulgence, cannibalism, happy isolation, light predator/prey dynamic (roles switching sometimes.)
legoshi — beastarshuman adopted by an interspecies couple, the only human student at cherryton - legoshi’s classmate. lore follows canon storyline events (self insert, for lack of better phrasing, is in place of haru but does not share any personality/life traits with her) and follows right through from school to work life for legoshi.★ art gallery located here.> size difference, angst, hurt and comfort, bodily acceptance and exploration, fierce protection, emotional intimacy.
peter dunbar — your boyfriend gameworking in the local diner, she catches a man watching her on a daily basis. she’s aware of everything peter does: the stalking outside of the diner, the drooling at her bedroom window; but she feels wanted. she thrives on the attention after being starved of it her whole life. she knows it’s odd, dangerous, but there’s something soft about peter she wants to know more of. she even keeps her window open at night in hopes he’ll crawl in and take a chance. she allows him to orbit her, waiting for him to finally talk to her. lore follows a couple of canon events in game but not many due to the accepting nature of the pairing. I do also view peter outside of the game alongside the canon wall break.★ art gallery located here.> stalking and surveillance, violent and mutual obsession/possession, gore, destructive codependency, exploration of past abuse on both sides.
donatello — teenage mutant ninja turtles (2012)as the turtles try to piece the city back together after mutagen canisters were spread and broken throughout the city, donnie finds an oddly mutated cat-like girl in an alleyway. she can’t talk, but she moves towards him cautiously, her tail flicking in his direction. he’s instantly drawn to her, protective of her even. he takes her back to the lab, reversing the impacts of the mutagen to find out that it was indeed a human who got caught in the mutagen disaster. he can’t take his eyes off her, and neither can she to him: something starts there, for both of them, and they’re not sure how to navigate it at first. they’re both clumsy, but it’s all in the eyes…> strangers to lovers, found family aspects, yandere trope, mutual obsession, medfet exploration.
raphael — teenage mutant ninja turtles (bayverse)in the midst of the foot clan hijacking the train station, one girl was left behind as she went over her ankle while trying to usher people out of the station. despite leo’s calls, raph scooped her up when the lights went off. as the boys started to argue on a nearby rooftop, she watched: just watched, fascinated and thankful. she noticed raph had gotten a small cut on his bicep as he was swinging out of the building, moving carefully towards him to check the wound - everyone falls into silence as she cleans the blood with her sleeve.> friends to lovers, slow burn, hurt and comfort, physical communication/exploring emotional vulnerability, a lot of blood and medical depictions - the turtles’ resident ‘nurse’.
beelzebub — obey me!events ultimately follow the same canon storyline of the game, but alicia permanently in the devildom at the present time. this is one of my longest standing selfships - details for this pairing and their surroundings are very fleshed out but not explored in the open (on social media etc.)> friends to lovers, school adventures, size difference, quiet and gentle devotion, mostly domestic-type life.

my self insert with every character is very much based on how I look and act in real life + directly shares my life experiences

age: ranges from teens to early 20s depending on the storyline and the particular time of discussion
height: 5’2”appearance: her build is slim, doesn’t appear strong at first glance but her bite does match her bark. her hair is cut above her shoulders, short style that frames her face - a redhead with loose, fuzzy curls. her complexion is pale and smooth to the eye but with blemishes/small scaring; freckles dot all over her body with a particularly noticeable one on her left cheekbone.personality: she is intelligent and courageous, emotional but logical, very passionate. she’s organised, tends to swear like a sailor, quick to spit out snarky (but with a lighthearted touch) comments. kind to those she knows and admires/appreciates but can be slightly standoffish to others; most importantly speaks her mind with confidence. she is often viewed as quite ‘unusual’ due to her interests and intense personality.
every version of my self insert will carry traits of how autism impacts me and cannot be separated from that
